- Unstable operation of candles of the second group
- Difficult cold start in some conditions
- Unstable display of GPCM2 data on the scanner
Causes
- Unstable contact in the data bus connector (oxidation, weak pressure)
- Interference on the LIN bus from other devices
- Partial damage to bus wire insulation
- Unstable power supply of GPCM2 (voltage sags)
- Partial internal degradation of the bus transceiver in GPCM2 or ECU
How to Fix
- Check the GPCM2 data bus connector for oxidation and reliable contact
- Use an oscilloscope to analyze the LIN bus signal in real time
- Check the GPCM2 power supply for instability while the engine is running.
