Causes
- Faulty exhaust valve control solenoid

- Oxidized or damaged connectors
- Low voltage in the on-board network
- Engine control unit (ECU) malfunction
- Bad ground in solenoid circuit
- Corrosion of solenoid connector contacts
How to Fix
- Connect a diagnostic scanner and read all error codes
- Check the vehicle's on-board voltage
- Visually inspect the solenoid wiring for damage.
- Check the resistance of the exhaust valve control solenoid
- Measure the voltage at the solenoid connector with the engine running.
- Check the integrity of the wiring from the ECU to the solenoid
- Clean the contacts of the solenoid connector from oxidation
- If necessary, replace the faulty solenoid
- Check the quality of the mass connection
- Clear error codes and test drive
