Symptoms

• Check Engine light on
• Engine overheating under prolonged loads

• Visible damage to the blinds or foreign objects in the grille

Causes

• Mechanical jamming of blinds (ice, dirt, foreign object)
• Worn or broken blind hinges
• Malfunction of the electric drive (actuator) of the blinds
• Damage to rods or transmission mechanism
• Blind control module malfunction

How to Fix

1. Read codes and check data in real time (blind position by command and sensor)
2. Visually inspect the blinds through the radiator grille to see if there is any ice, debris or visible damage.
3. Check the power supply and control signal to the blinds actuator
4. Try to manually move the blinds (with the ignition off) - they should move freely
5. Replace the actuator or blind assembly if there is a mechanical fault
6. After repair, adapt the system according to the manufacturer’s procedure
