Symptoms

• Check Engine light is on
• Section B blinds are fixed in one position
• The system works partially (only section A)
• Slight reduction in fuel efficiency and aerodynamics
• Possible associated codes for other blind circuits of section B

Causes

• Open or short circuit in the section B blind position sensor circuit
• Damage or oxidation of the section B sensor connector
• Faulty blind position sensor section B
• Mechanical damage to the blinds of section B
• Section B blind control module faulty

How to Fix

1. Read all error codes and identify all codes related to the blinds of section B
2. Visually inspect the blinds of section B for physical damage and foreign objects
3. Check the connector and wiring of the section B position sensor for oxidation and damage.
4. Measure the supply voltage and signal voltage of the position sensor of section B
5. Check section B sensor circuit resistance to specification
6. If necessary, replace the position sensor or blind module of section B
7. Reset codes and check normal operation of both sections of blinds
